Jodie Burton brings 44 years of dedicated service to the Terrebonne Parish Clerk of Court’s Office, where she currently serves as Chief Deputy Clerk. A Certified Election Commissioner and commissioned Notary Public, Jodie has spent her entire career ensuring the office runs with integrity, efficiency, and transparency.
The choice to run for Clerk of Court is not a new path for me, but rather a natural progression and love for a career that I have dedicated my entire adult life to accomplish.
It’s built on decades of hands-on work and unwavering commitment to the Clerk’s office and the citizens of this Parish. As a Certified Chief Deputy Clerk of Court, I understand what it takes to run the day-to-day operations of this office while keeping integrity and transparency at the forefront.
As we move forward, my primary goal is to build upon the new services and technology we have implemented within the Terrebonne Parish Clerk of Court’s Office. Leveraging my unparalleled experience, I am committed to ensuring that we not only meet but exceed the expectations of our community.
I believe that by continuously enhancing our operations, we will maintain our status as one of the most respected offices in both Terrebonne Parish and the State of Louisiana. Our dedication to conservative values and professionalism will guide our initiatives and innovations, ensuring that we serve the public with integrity and efficiency.
Together, we will strive to maintain a Clerk’s office that is not only responsive to the needs of our constituents, but also a model of excellence in public service. With 44 years of experience working in the Clerk of Court’s office, I am excited about the path ahead and look forward to continuing my service to the people of Terrebonne Parish.
